The AI Business Mentor ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data processed through the AI Business Mentor service. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect and why

  • Account data (email, password, name) — to create and secure your account (contract).
  • Business profile (business name, industry, goals) — to personalize your mentor's advice (contract).
  • Conversations and tasks — to provide the Service and keep your history (contract).
  • Membership status (plan, renewal dates) — to grant access to paid features (contract).
  • Technical data (IP address, device and usage information) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service (legitimate interests).
  • Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Who we share data with

  • Service providers who host our app and database and run the AI models that generate answers.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
  • Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account from Settings, your profile, conversations and tasks are permanently deleted. Limited records may be kept where the law requires, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. You can edit your profile and delete your account in the app at any time, or contact us to exercise any right. Some providers may process data outside your country; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and strict access controls so each member can only see their own data.

Cookies

We only use essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser settings, which will sign you out.
